An astonishing journey that reveals the awesome power of the natural world is coming to cinemas. 
Narrated by the Oscar-winning American movie icon, Robert Redford, BBC Earth's 'One Amazing Day' tells the story of life on our planet during on 24 hour period.
Wildlife fans hoping to catch a sneak preview of the action can now see some of the highlights in this world exclusive epic trailer.

Audiences will track the sun from the highest mountains to the remotest islands, and from exotic jungles to urban jungles. 
Thanks to breakthroughs in filmmaking technology, the film promises to bring you up close and personal with its cast of colourful characters.  
Crews used ultra high-definition cameras and drones to get the highest quality shots as they travelled around the world gathering footage.
Among the stars of the show are a baby zebra desperate to cross a swollen river and a penguin who undertakes a death-defying daily commute to feed his family.
A family of sperm whales who like to snooze vertically and a sloth on the hunt for love are also sure to captivate cinema-goers.
Chinese cinemagoers will be the first to see the movie, with Shanghai Media Group planning a wide release in that territory immediately after their global premiere in Beijing on the August 1.

The film will be on general release in UK and US cinemas this autumn.
In a written statement, a spokesman for the film's creators said: 'The story is told with humour, intimacy, emotion and a jaw-dropping sense of cinematic splendour.
'Earth: One Amazing Day is the enchanting big screen family friendly adventure that spectacularly highlights how every day is filled with more unseen dramas and wonders than you can possibly imagine— until now!'
The film is the much anticipated sequel to BBC Earth Films' £86 million ($112 million) box office smash Earth.
Jackie Chan will voice the Mandarin version in China.
The film's producer Stephen McDonogh added: 'Robert Redford and Jackie Chan each lending their voices to the film is the icing on the cake for what is already a formidable international talent line up on this world class film.

The film is directed by Richard Dale, the BAFTA and Peabody winner for The Human Body and Peter Webber, an Oscar nominee for The Girl with the Pearl Earring.
The score is by Alex Heffes, who has composed for Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, and The Last King of Scotland.

The script was written by leading screenwriter Frank Cottrell-Boyce, who has previously worked on the London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony and the film The Railway Man.
Pascal Degove, managing director of Goldcrest Films added: 'The response to this project has been phenomenal.
